    Choosing a prediction market platform

Which platform is best for new US traders?

Kalshi. It's federally-regulated, USD-funded, has the broadest market mix (politics, sports, economics, culture), and the smoothest onboarding for US bank users.

Which platform has the lowest fees?

Kalshi charges no commission on most markets and earns from the bid-ask spread. Polymarket charges a small spread plus gas. Sportsbook-style platforms (PrizePicks, Underdog) build margin into the lines.

    Can US traders use Polymarket?

Yes, through Polymarket's US-legal perpetual-futures product launched in 2026. Direct prediction-market trading on the Polygon order book remains restricted for US users.

Which platform is best for sports?

Kalshi for game outcomes and prop-style binary markets; Sleeper, PrizePicks, and Underdog for parlay-style player props.
